Erica Zidor, Consultant
The belief that every person has the ability to reach their full potential is what led Erica to become passionate about human resources. She is highly captivated by innovation in organizational strategy and is as committed to the well-being of management as she is to the well-being of her employees. Erica has over a decade of experience in human resources in various industries, including the education system, the technology sector, the tourism industry, and the restaurant industry. Curious, dynamic, and empathetic by nature, Erica stands out for her collaborative spirit, her ability to listen and her positivism.
Prior to joining Boreala, Erica had extensive experience in talent acquisition and as a human resources generalist. She has also worked with entrepreneurs in the realization of their recruitment projects, the development of a human resources structure and on certain HR marketing aspects.
In addition to being an accredited member of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources since 2013, she holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from the UQAM. Concerned with the training of the next generation in her field, Erica is currently taking a short graduate program in pedagogical education at UQAM to be able to teach human resources at the post-secondary level.
Human resources are not Erica’s only passion. As a former competitive student-athlete, she is involved in the next generation of Basketball. As a coach, referee and player, the discipline, collaboration, and memories that sports brings to many is important to Erica.
